The Gaza Culture and Development Group (GCDG) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 1990 by a group of Palestinian intellectuals aiming at promoting cultural awareness for all categories of the society. The association works on achieving sustainable development to achieve a better and sustainable future for all. It is officially registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under No. 7288 since 2003

Since its establishment, the association has implemented cultural and development initiatives and projects. And in light of the developments that occurred in the Palestinian community, including siege and closure of crossings, and the consequent deterioration in the economic, social and psychological conditions of the Palestinian society groups, the association worked on implementing relief and development projects targeting poor and affected families aiming to enhance the resilience of the Palestinian community and strengthen the participation of these families in building Palestinian community.

The association also has a prominent role in enabling marginalized groups towards more participation in Palestinian community issues through enhancing their abilities, developing their skills and societal awareness as well as improving their economic conditions.

Gaza Culture and Development Group works in coordination and networking with local and international organizations that agrees with it in objectives and programs in order to implement development and innovative  projects that meet the basic needs of  the Palestinian community and supports the association's goals in improving the livelihoods of the Palestinian citizen.
